Cultural Affairs
Available funds are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified applicants following the commencement of the Commission's fiscal year (July 1 of every year).
Organizations are responsible for submitting applications 12 business days prior to the Executive Committee meeting at which the organizations would like the application reviewed.
See Meeting ScheduleThe Virginia Beach Arts & Humanities Commission's Leadership and Organizational Development (LOD) Grant program supports arts and humanities leaders (professional administrators and board members) in acquiring skills and practical tools that hone their ability to lead, develop and sustain the overall health and vitality of arts and humanities organizations.
A meeting schedule is available from the Cultural Affairs Department. This schedule is subject to change, and applicants should confirm with the Cultural Affairs Department prior to submitting an application.
